Wärtsilä Marine Business’s Delivery Center Vaasa (DCV), Material Management is looking for a Trainee in Operational Purchasing.
This position is located in Vaasa, Finland. The position is temporary trainee position for 6 months.
Responsibilities
– Ensure that the right amount of required material is available just on time when needed
– Tasks related to forecasting, requirement & delivery planning, ordering and order supervision for assigned component portfolio and suppliers
– Manage document revision to supplier
– Maintain material master data
– Optimize the inventory turnover
– Other tasks related to operative purchasing
Requirements
– Strong problem solving skills
– Study field: Engineering or Economics or similar
– Good communication, team working and social skills
– Interested in supply chain management related topics
– Working fluency in English and Finnish, both written and spoken
