We are looking for a graduate or a student close to finalising the studies to work for our cyber security organisation in the context of cyber security development and support. Depending on your background your role may be geared towards either secure software development (SDL) or security incident response development.

This position is located in Helsinki or Vaasa, Finland. The position is temporary trainee position for 6 months.

Responsibilities

Depending on your background and competences to work in the following areas.

Secure Development:

– Working as part of Secure Development Lifecycle Team / program to define and develop Wärtsilä security development practices

– Creating guidelines, developing specifications or actual tooling that will be used in different phases of Secure Development Lifecycle

– Focus areas can be either static analysis tooling development, implementing tools and practices

Incident Response Development:

– Developing internal documentation, working instructions, training material in the context of Wärtsilä PSIRT (Product Security Incident Response Team) and SOC (Security Operation Centre)

– Developing vulnerability management concept and processes

Asset management: 

– Documenting and developing asset management tools and procedures

Requirements 

– Interested in developing cyber security capabilities and skills in the context of above areas

– Hands-on experience in some SW Engineering tools and understanding on CI and DevSecOps

– Programming skills or capability to configure different systems

– Experience regarding some specific industry domain (e.g. operational technology, industrial automation development, service design and management, integration or maintenance)

– Fluent Finnish and English language skills

– Cybersecurity experience is a benefit. Preferably some understanding on ISO 27k, IEC 62443 or some other industry Cyber Security standards
