TEHDÄÄN TÖITÄ 2019 is Suomen Mentorit’s trainee program aiming to improve the employment of young graduates and thus building and developing the workforce of the future. As part of this program we are looking for a Trainee – Project Procurement in Supply Operations team in Finland.
As a Trainee you will:
– Prepare the project specific purchasing documentation
– Prepare and lead the bidding process and compiles the bid evaluations
– Comply with category strategies in project supplier selection process
– Participate project specific purchase negotiations
– Act as a link towards supplier during a project for day-to-day matters
– Act as a link to sourcing in project supplier issues
– Compile and file the commercial documentation
– Manage the supplier invoices
– Report the supplier performance
As a Trainee you will need:
– Positive attitude and eagerness to learn more.
– We are looking for proactive individuals with a can-do approach.
– You enjoy challenges and like working as part of a team but also independently.
– Good communication skills in English and in Finnish, other languages will be an asset
– A relevant technical background, preferably M. Sc. in Engineering
– We are mainly looking for higher degree students of relevant fields of studies, but when selecting the candidates, we do not focus on your study performance only – we want to select people who want to join us to develop and succeed
We offer you an exciting 6-month traineeship in a multinational and innovative environment, allowing you to develop your professional skills and competencies through versatile and challenging tasks. You will also be able to take part in career coaching sessions arranged by Suomen Mentorit. These will include interesting workshops, a chance to get to know other trainees and practical tips on how advance in your career!
