We are now looking for a Project Engineer Trainee to Wärtsilä Energy Business. As a Project Engineer, you are accountable for example for technical solutions, engineering, quality and requirement compliance. The position is temporary trainee position for 6 months. Trainee period starts during March-April, according to the trainee’s availability
This position is located in Vaasa, Finland.
Responsibilities
– Safeguard that works under own responsibility area are executed according to contract and requirements, specifications, instructions and policies
– Make Main Flow diagrams & Device lists
– Plan the works with the total costs, schedule and customer needs in focus
– Manage project activities according to contract and requirements together with internal team members
– Participate in customer and stakeholder negotiations when needed and maintain good customer / stakeholder relationships
– Identify, mitigate, monitor and report risks in own responsibility area
– Development responsibilities, such as tool and methods’ development in your responsibility area
Requirements
– Studies in BSc. or MSc. in Process or Mechanical Engineering
– Team player and ability to understand and work with diverse cultures
– Eager to learn and grow professionally
– Good communication skills
– Fluent in English
– Willingness to travel in your work
