HKScan’s Group Communications is looking for a trainee to work in the corporate communications team for a fixed term of six months in Vantaa.
YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
• Creating interesting and engaging content for internal and external communications. The tasks can vary from Writing internal and external releases to producing internal videos and collaborating in preparing external presentations. You will also participate in editing texts and validating translations.
• Social media monitoring, message drafting and posting.
• Publishing and updating content in various digital channels such as intranet, web, extranet and the social media.
• Participating in communications planning and implementing in cooperation with colleagues.
• Managing and maintaining visual materials, such as photos, in our data bank.
• The job might include independent project work in internal and external communications projects and thereby collaboration with communications agencies and internal stakeholders.
• The job may require some travelling, mainly to our production units and/or external stakeholder events, mainly in Finland.
WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
• You are a student majoring in Communications or Marketing, and close to graduation.
• You have excellent skills in English and Finnish and an ability to produce content smoothly in English. Good skills in Swedish is an advantage.
• Previous working experience in international contexts, possibly in a stock listed company, is a plus.
• We are looking for a person with a strong internal motivation to develop as a communicator and who is an active and positive self-starter with a can-do attitude.
• We warmly welcome you as a collaborative team member, but appreciate your ability to complete your main assignments independently.
• You have some knowledge of web content management systems, the social media and MS Offi ce tools.
• You are interested to learn more about new digital tools and channels.
